Getting to Campus & Parking

Bus

University for Seniors offers members DTA/STRIDE* passes for transportation to and from UMD, courtesy of the Robert N. Brownlee Fund. Passes are distributed by the US Finance Committee and are intended to be used for travel to and from US classes and activities during the fall, winter, and spring terms only.

Several bus routes run to the UMD campus. Route information is available on the Duluth Transit Authority’s website.
Look for UMD under “Popular Destinations.” There is one bus stop on campus, the Kirby Plaza bus hub. An elevator in the foyer leads directly to the University for Seniors Robert N. Brownlee Center.

The DTA has a Park & Ride located on Calvary Rd. Park there for free and jump on the bus.

*NOTE: Using STRIDE passes requires an approved application process through the DTA office. Visit the DTA website or call 218-722-3327 for more information.
